Penn State Health Go was developed to offer a user-friendly experience. When at Penn State Health Hampden, Penn State Health Holy Spirit, or Penn State Health Lancaster medical centers, simply open the app and choose from options to navigate, browse, or translate*. The navigation function allows you to select your destination from a list or utilize the search bar to find specific rooms or locations (such as the nearest restroom). Once you pick a location, the app will provide step-by-step directions to guide you to the correct entrance. The browse feature enables users to explore artwork displayed throughout the hospital, while the translate feature offers language options including Arabic, Nepali, and Spanish to interpret signs within the app.

The app utilizes your phone's location, camera, and Bluetooth® technology to guide you to your destination. Similar to a GPS system in a vehicle, Penn State Health Go employs visual and directional markers for navigation purposes. Prior consent must be given for the app to access your phone's features, ensuring precise guidance within the hospital and optimizing the browse and translate functions. User location data is utilized solely for improving navigation accuracy and is not stored. Penn State Health Go adheres to strict access regulations, ensuring directions are provided only for indoor public areas.
